Job Type: Permanent 
Location: Letterkenny, Co. Donegal – Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)

The Role
As a Salesforce Developer in our growing team, you will be instrumental in driving the Solution design and Quality project deliveries.  
We are building a cross-functional team in the Letterkenny GDC to enhance an existing partnership and create a near-shore presence to support the US market. This is one of several new and exciting opportunities on the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements.
  • Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce* pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components** and Lightning Web Components.
  • DevOps – Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
  • Integrations (Good to have): Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization such as [DocuSign, Conga, Survey Gizmo, Experian, ACBS, Alloy]
  • Perform testing (unit and systems), debugging and support other test cycles.
  • Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development.
  • Maintain proper documentation like TD, UTP, etc of all the components.   


Your Profile
Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

  • SFDC architecture & have good technical knowledge of Salesforce Development Tools.
  • Experience working with the Product Owner in understanding the User Stories.
  • Experience working on the Solution design and assisting the team in Critical issue resolution.
  • Experience on sprint Planning and adhering to Agile Practices.
  • Ability to work independently.

Technical/Functional Skills

  • Visualforce.
  • Database management.
  • AGILE/Scrum methodology.
  • Use of GIT and code editors (vscode, sublime, etc.).
  • Good Knowledge in Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Javascript Component Development.
  • Good Understanding of SFDC Configuration.
  • At-least 2 Projects in Lightning.

Experience Required

  • Experience in Agile Development.
  • Experience in JavaScript Programming, HTML and CSS.
  • 1 Certification in Salesforce.
  • Knowledge in Service Cloud.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce Lightning, Apex development, Visual force etc.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud/ Community Cloud / Sales cloud / Health Cloud features.
  • Good understanding of API integration methodology.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of Apex, Apex DML, Apex Triggers, Apex Testing, Batch Apex.
  • Knowledge of SOQL/SOSL languages.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

Good to Have

  • Preferable – Additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I/II.
  • Webservice Development using REST APIs
  • Knowledge in FSC Cloud


Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp 1G/Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
